I'm riding 210km to help Aussie kids in need
I've taken up the challenge to ride 210km (this will be my longest ride to date) in Bupa Around the Bay 2014 on Sunday 19 October and raise funds to EMPOWER kids in need to create a better future for themselves through education. This not only helps these kids but their family, their siblings and our society as a whole.
Supporting a child's education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of disadvantage and I'd love to play a small part and hope you share my feelings.
Your donation will provide these kids with essentials such as school books, bags, uniforms, shoes and the support they need to make the most of their education.
I'm lucky to have a lot of well educated, responsible, friendly and generous friends and family and I'm asking for a little help if you can afford any amount.
Your donations will give me added motivation on top of my own personal goals and I thank you all in advance of any donations you may comit and well in advance of the ride in October.
Please DONATE by clicking the ‘Sponsor Me’ button and help break the cycle of disadvantage!
Entertaining the magpies

So, had a decently hard and cold 13km ride in this morning followed by a hard push to get home ride of 41 km (trying to make it home for 6pm due to school concert, made it into the house at 6:05 after putting the bike away so not bad. Only got swooped 5 times by same maggie, he'll be on my usual route home so I'm going to call him Charlie.
