This year we are striving to raise $1.2M for The Smith Family's Learning for Life programs, we are asking all riders and teams to Ride for a Reason to help us make 2011 the biggest year in Bupa Around the Bay® history.

By fundraising you will help us reach our target and help support Australian children and young people with assistance they need to develop vital life skills, stay engaged in their education and have the best chance to realize their potential.

Your registration fee goes to Bicycle Victoria to run the event and to help get More People Cycling More Often. The Smith Family will only receive donations if riders take on the fundraising challenge to get sponsors in addition to taking part in the event. It is easy to fundraise. You can collect donations, hold fundraising events, sponsor yourself or ask your company to match your fundraising efforts!
